Join the Women In Architecture (WIA) committee for the Philadelphia edition of a global Women in Architecture campaign to improve Wikipedia's content of notable women in architecture!

For this Edit-a-Thon, WIA has joined forces with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, The Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation, Women in Design, Wikiproject Women Wikipedia Design and WikiProject Women in Red, and 15 international cities focused on improving and increasing the presence of cultural, historic, and artistic information on the lives and works of women in architecture.  

Simultaneously on Thursday, October 15th each organization will contribute to expanding Wikipedia, and you can do you part right here in Philadelphia! 

The details:

WHEN: Thursday, October 15, 2015  5:30-9pm

WHERE: The Center for Architecture 1218 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

COST: Free! Registration is required!

WHAT TO BRING:  Your laptop, power adapter, and any reference materials you'd like to work from or share. If you have some ideas to work on, bring them along! If not, we'll provide some resources.

EXPERIENCE NOT NECESSARY! We will have Wikipedia experts available for training. TRAINING STARTS PROMPTLY AT 6!
