Abstract: Instruction for the specification and use of all types of foundation, plaza, blind-side, and split-slab waterproofing membranes, to prevent water and moisture infiltration in all types of buildings. This presentation will demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of the various types of waterproofing systems, including self-adhering sheets, hot- and cold liquid-applied membranes, bentonite, and others. After completing the presentation, the audience will be able to determine which waterproofing membrane to select for your next project.
