ABOUT ABOUT

With estimated completion in summer of 2020, join PEA for a hard-hat tour of the Wharton Academic Research Building on The University of Pennsylvania’s campus. The 80,450 SF building was designed by MGA Partners and will link to the existing Steinberg Hall-Dietrich Hall. In four floors, it will include mixed use space for faculty, students, and researchers. Through a triangular shaped plan, the intent is to restore Woodland Walk from the original 1957 design by Ian McHarg.

Registration is limited to 25 participants and is required. All participants are required to wear long pants, boots/close-toed shoes, and please bring a hard hat, safety vests, and safety glasses.

The meeting location will be at the jobsite trailer located at the intersection of the Woodland Walk and the 36th street walk. Access to these is at the intersection of 36th and Spruce Streets or via the 37th Street Septa trolley station.

Participants are welcome to join PEA for a happy hour afterward to network and recap the tour.
