With estimated completion in spring of 2020, join PEA for the an inside look at The Pavilion, a new inpatient hospital facility for Penn Medicine. Designed using the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) process, the PennFIRST team is creating a building of the 21st century. The team includes Foster+Partners, HDR, BR+A, Southland Industries, and L.F. Driscoll, and Balfour Beatty.
The 17-story facility will have 500 private patient rooms and 47 operating rooms included within its 1.5 million square feet. In pursuit of LEED certification, the hospital will incorporate water re-use systems, 100 percent outside air, and outdoor green spaces. The design of the facility is reimagining hospital care with a state of the art facility focused on the patient experience.
Registration is limited to 30 participants and is required. All participants are required to wear long pants and work boots. Hard hats, safety vests, and safety glasses will be provided.
