With estimated completion in summer of 2020, join PEA for a hard-hat tour of the Hyatt Centric Hotel in Rittenhouse Square. The 13-Story, 190,000 SF building was designed by DAS Architects and will include 332 guestrooms, 40 executive suites, and luxurious amenities all above below-grade parking. A restaurant and bar will occupy the second floor and the street-level will house retail. The building embraces the narrow lot it occupies through the use of high-performance materials while complimenting the adjacent historic buildings. The project will achieve LEED Silver.
The event will begin with a brief presentation hosted in Clemens Construction’s office – the construction management company building the project – before visiting the site. This tour will be an exciting opportunity to learn about the collaboration between the architects and the contractors from pre-con through fruition as well as the roles and responsibilities an owner’s representative firm – Becker & Frondorf – play in the design and development process.
Registration is required. All participants are required to wear hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses, and work boots.
Tour will be from 3:00 - 5:30 PM with a happy hour to follow.
