The pioneering architect, planner, theorist and educator received the Soane Medal in recognition of her significant contributions to architecture through her built work, education, history and theory. In this hour-long lecture, pre-recorded by Denise at her home in Philadelphia, she shares a narrated history of her early life and the experiences that shaped her practice, illustrated by her own extraordinary photography.
