ABOUT ABOUT

AIA Philadelphia’s Committee on the Environment is excited about the 2030 Working Group, a monthly session to learn about the AIA’s 2030 Commitment to achieve zero carbon buildings. Participants will earn 1.5 AIA HSW CES at each event.
Each month, the 2030 Working Group meets on the second Monday to learn about the 2030 Commitment and to share knowledge about design strategies for carbon neutral buildings. All architects have an important role to play in mitigating climate change. The 2030 Working Group sessions will apply to all types of architectural work: small to large, residential and commercial, interiors and whole building, new construction and renovation.

Learning Objectives For Session #6 "Integrated Design Process":

Articulate the benefits of IDP for reaching the goals of the 2030 Commitment.
Compare IDP processes from different firms.
Synthesize best practices for IDP.
Evaluate analysis tools that can be used in the IDP process.

Moderators: David Hincher & Bunny Tucker, co-chairs AIA Philadelphia COTE.
