Join the Philadelphia Emerging Architects Committee of AIA Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Center / Architecture + Design as we celebrate the winning entries from the 10th annual CANstruction design competition and food drive to benefit Philabundance, the Delaware Valleys largest hunger relief organization. This year's "aCANemy Awards" Happy Hour will celebrate our 16 teams and the 10th CANniversary of our event here in Philadelphia! Our teams designed their structures around the theme of DECADES to celebrate a decade of donations to Philabundance!

Your tickets to this event give you access to our Happy Hour open bar (featuring beer from local breweries and wine from local wineries), and the announcement of the 2016 CANstruction Philadelphia award winners! VIP Ticket holders will gain access to our Happy Hour event (open bar with beer and wine) and special access to the Liberty Place Observation Deck from 8:30-10:00pm after the Reception!!! Canstruction, Inc.
is a registered nonprofit organization that holds annual design and build competitions to benefit local food banks. Founded in 1992, Canstruction is responsible for collecting over 20 million pounds of food for local communities across the globe. In Philadelphia, all of the food is donated to Philabundance, the Delaware Valley's largest hunger relief organization.

Philadelphia Emerging Architects Committee
One of the most active committees of the AIA Philadelphia chapter, PEA assists emerging professionals and young architects to strengthen the link between architectural education and practice. In particular the committee assists those individuals in the Intern Development Program (IDP) and recently licensed Architects, by offering programming and events throughout the year that aim to inspire, lead, connect, grow and create.
