Women In Architecture (WIA), a committee of AIA Philadelphia, is proud to present our Annual Scholarship Fundraiser featuring Billie Faircloth.
Billie Faircloth is a practicing architect, educator, and a partner at KieranTimberlake, where she is the Research Director leading transdisciplinary research, design, and problem-solving processes across fields including environmental management, chemical physics, materials science, and architecture. She fosters collaboration between disciplines, trades, academies, and industries in order to define a relevant problem-solving boundary for the built environment. Recently, Billie received Architectural Record’s 2017 Women in Architecture award that recognizes women pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity in design.
Please join us for an evening to celebrate Billie’s contribution to the profession by her tenacious pursuit of an answer to the question, “Why do we build the way that we do?”
