Gina leads ESI’s economic development practice area—often working with developers, community-based organizations, and government agencies with evaluating the impacts of investments or policy changes within a community or region. This work includes completing economic and fiscal impact studies, supporting economic development grant applications, and analyzing the market feasibility of projects. Some of her favorite most recent projects have been evaluating the economic, environmental, and social benefits of green infrastructure and active transportation modes.
Gina is active in the urban planning and economic development community in the city as a member of ULI Philadelphia, Philadelphia Real Estate Council, and Lambda Alpha Philly. She also teaches first-year graduate students’ urban planning workshops at the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design.
