The objective of the walking tour is to describe the iconography and conservation for some of the 200+ sculptures and bas reliefs located on Philadelphia City Hall that were designed and modeled in plaster by Alexander Milne Calder. Also to be discussed are the repairs required to the 3 dimensional stones and bronze sculptures to address issues of life safety, water infiltration and aesthetics.
